Established in 1958 and shut down in 2006, Beijing Coking Plant, featuring its time-honored industrial styles and structures, was preserved and renovated into 3 parts, namely an open urban park, an enclosed core processing zone, and an independent office area. Featuring a layout of "one axis (display axis of industrial history)", "one ring (ring-shaped touring route)","multi dots (featured indsturial heritage" and "multi veins (green landscape belt)", the area has preserved industrial heritages while transforming improvable structures to boost both urban service.
