Beijing Topwin Center is a super high-rise complex with an InterContinental Hotel, luxury apartments and a boutique retail mall. The InterContinental Sanlitun distinguishes itself as a modern landmark with its stylish exterior. Challenged by a narrow site, the architects focused on the integration of the hotel’s complex functions and the context of its neighborhood to achieve harmony between the building and the urban space. The hotel’s façade features a hexagon-patterned steel structure integrated with LED lights that gives the tower a distinctive honeycombed texture.
