Inspired by the mountains and waters of Linyi, the design of the theater has integrated a theater, a concert hall and a movie theater. Furthermore, a winding street among the spaces provides access into the building, making the theater an open space for daily activities. The roof ascends in a spiral way, presenting traditional features and a sense of infinite ascending. Dominated by transparent glass curtain walls and dry-hanging granite plates, the façade reveals a sense of mobility while resembling bamboo slips in Han Dynasty.
