Mongol-Yuan Culture Museum

As the largest museum in the world that exhibits the Mongol-Yuan culture through historical relic, researches and exhibitions, and consists of three parts: the museum, the folk-custom hall, and the folk-custom theatre. The dramatic horizontal volumes are well fit for the boundless grassland. The main part consists of an uptilted solid round platform that locks with a hollow taper, making the building rising sheer from the ground. An exhibition gallery spires around the middle hall presents a holy space that impresses visitors deeply. The texture of glass curtain walls and skylights shows respect to the traditional pattern of Mongolian yurts.
